We cheated. We took the bus to León. I enjoyed the day off from walking!

We did walk around the historical centre of León, met and had a long, leisurely lunch with a couple from Australia that we’d met the first day of the Camino, and met here and there since. They are lovely people and I really enjoyed talking with them.
