Leaving Home

But now I am at the Calgary airport waiting for my overnight flight to Paris.

Ron and I left home yesterday. It was a foggy, drizzly day:

We drove to Vernon, a city about 1/2 hour north of Kelowna. I am flying out of the Kelowna airport, which is in between Vernon and Kelowna.

There was a bit of snow still, above 1000 metres elevation:

But in Vernon the flowers were out already.

This morning Ron dropped me off at the Kelowna Airport. That was the hard part, saying goodbye even though it isn’t for all that long.
